Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Eurasian Journal of Gender Studies (EJGS) is an open-access journal. To cover the costs associated with peer-review management, editorial processing, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, and online publication, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 75,000 KZT, or its equivalent in another currency calculated according to the official exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the payment date.

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the journal’s double-blind peer-review process. No fees are charged at the submission or peer-review stages.

Apart from the APC, the journal does not charge any submission, editorial processing, page, colour, language-editing, or manuscript withdrawal fees.

The journal does not currently offer APC waivers or discounts.

All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process or editorial decision.

The APC may be paid by the authors, their institutions, or research funding organisations. The corresponding author is responsible for arranging payment. Payment details and instructions are provided only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
